Role Responsibility:
• To ensure the Health, Safety and Welfare of employees under your control and those affected by your acts.
• To ensure the efficient running of the depot, to maximise productivity and profitability.
• Operate under the management of the Area and Regional Managers and implement policies, with priority given to Health & Safety issues.
• To review the programme of works, liaise with other supervisors to ensure efficient use of the depot resources, and that sufficient resources of the correct competencies are available to deliver the works.
• Liaise with key stake holders

The Ideal Candidate:.
• Experience in a similar operational role within the Traffic Management, or construction industry.
• Be able to demonstrate leadership qualities and experience of leading teams in comparable roles with a focus on safety.
• Excellent people and communication skills with the ability to lead by example
• Self-motivated with strong organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Knowledge of Traffic management and permits is an advantage

Reporting to the depot manager this customer facing role is responsible for all customer enquiries and raising contracts via our bespoke computer system. Duties will include:

Dealing with the day to day running of the hire desk
Dealing with all bookings and customer queries pre operation
Overseeing all paperwork procedures for the depot
Planning works ahead of time giving the operations team as much notice as possible
Responding to any quotes that’s been requested
Supporting the depot manager with the financial aspects of the depot
The successful candidate will have excellent people skills and a professional telephone manner. Organised and with a good attention to detail you will also have strong IT skills. Full training will be provided. Previous experience in the hire or construction industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
