We currently have a vacancy in our Lincoln depot for a part-time Admin Assistant.

Proactive and organised your duties will include assisting the Depot Manager in the smooth running of the office, to provide front desk support and handling calls, processing incoming and outgoing mail, raising contracts, photocopying, filing and scanning documents and general day to day office duties.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in administration and strong knowledge of MS Office along with good attention to detail, initiative to resolve issues and strong communication skills. Training will be provided on our bespoke computer systems.

This apprenticeship role will involve the transactional day to day payroll administration for multiple companies within the group. This is a fantastic role for someone at the start of their payroll career, wishing to work towards their Level 3 Apprenticeship.

Vacancy description:
- Processing new starters on Payroll
- Processing leavers
- Ensuring that any employee depot moves are recorded
- Communicating with Managers and Depot admin
- Writing Payroll related letters ie Deductions from pay, pay changes etc
- Recording Holiday on spreadsheets and distributing to Depot Managers, dealing with queries
- Changing employees details ie Address/Bank details
- Check Hours spreadsheets and Absences/Holidays - send queries to depot Managers
- Collate previous months Working hours information on Excel spreadsheets
- Complete over 72 hours spreadsheet weekly
- Complete hours worked and unworked hours spreadsheet monthly
- Assist with Daily Payroll changes ie deductions and pay changes
- Help to run Payroll on weekly and monthly basis over the 5 companies
- Assist with Year-end Payroll processes including P11d submissions to HMRC
